1 Year Blog Anniversary!

February and March are hard months to take, since I know that spring is right around the corner (Mid-April). Thank heavens for Valentine's Day filled with hearts, flowers, candy, kisses, and love. I'm not sure what I would do without it! When I walk outside I see one endless white sky just itching to snow, slushy streets and mounds of snow piled in yards and street corners. Boots are my everyday attire, leather boots, ski boots, and furry boots, sometimes my slipper boots, all flat, all very unattractive!

To end this cycle, I opted for these high heal ankle boots today, intead of anything furry or warm. I was quickly reminded why I wear boots everyday - notice the above picture? If I want to be in fashion, I'll just have to remember - wet, muddy jeans and have a spare handy when I get home! As for winter blues, it's not so much that it's snowing all the time and cold, it's more about the ability to get out and about easily, and experiencing warmth other than from a radiator or fireplace! Do you know what I mean?

Last year, was a difficult year for me, as Craig was traveling constantly and I wasn't used to the gloom of the Montreal winter. Than I discovered blogging through my sister (who still doesn't have her own blog) and realized that although I was going through a hard time, and didn't have many acquaintances, I could communicate daily with friends and family through blogging.

I am so happy to have found this outlet, it has helped me greatly, especially during my first year up here with no family and no friends. I feel comfortable now my ward and the people I've met, and know that when we move again, most likely soon, I will still be able to have the support of my blogging friends. Thank you so much! It's been a great year! My annivesary is the 9th, but I'm out all day and didn't want to miss it! I can't believe it's been a year already!

My first post: Dipping your toe...

When is your blogg anniversary?
Wouldn't it be neat to celebarte your 10th blogging annivesary?
Do you think you could keep it up for that long?

Yay! Happy Anniversary. I am glad that you found blogging, not only because then I got to meet you, but because it helped you through some lonely time.

I went and read your first entry. I was very much the same as you at the lake. Generally, I only put my head under if one of my brothers threw me off the dock.

Happy Anniversary--that's so neat. I can see myself keeping up the blog for 10 yrs, definitely, because it's the best journal I've ever kept. It's journaling, mainly, for me. Also, I am social to a FAULT, which blogging provides in abundant measure!

So when/where are you moving soon? I had no inkling!

Goodnight--I'm sleep-deprived :)

Michelle: to answer your question (thanks I added it to the post). Jaclyn's festival pieces are:
Nocturne in e- Opus post. 72 #1 by Chopin, the first arabesque of Deux Arabesques by Debussy, and Sonata Pathetique by Beethoven.
