My sister...

Once upon a time their was a little girl who didn't want to be alone with her very crazy parents. She dreamed and wish and prayed for a brother or sister to join her family, hoping that God would listen. Little did she know what God had in store for this little girl...

"A sister you will be, to not one, but two siblings," said God.
And within a year, through adoption, her family had doubled in size! At first it was great, she could blame her mischief on her little brother, or tell on her little sister (which she did in abundance!) But one day, her little sister, realized that the one person she wanted to be in the whole world - was her big sister.

Wherever, she went, her little sister would follow; her hair was the same; her clothes were the same - It was unbearable, poor me she cried!

But at least she said, I don't have to be alone, do the chores on my own, that I have a friend to travel with me wherever I go...or so the little sister hoped she'd think. The years went by and they parted their ways, made families of their own, and lived very far apart. But they always find time to talk almost daily, and visit each other when time and money allow it.

To you, my big sister, I love you and am so grateful that I had you as my example, and although, I embarrassed you on several occasions while in our teenage years, I'm so fortunate to have you as my friend!

Happy Birthday Jenn!

And to my cute little niece, who's not that little anymore - Happy very late Birthday!

Thanks Michelle, I love this post, but thats because it personally interests me, I adore all the photos of all of you when you were little - love it, love it, love it. Also re: the message you left on my blog about the sippie cups - you are so so so welcome, now if I had been in the world of blog then I could have sent them as "good mail" ha ha. There is a really funny story to those cups because there were two types - one with handles and a spout and one without handles and straws. Now I can remember now which ones I sent you but I had to swap the tops and the bottoms to get the right combination, so everytime I went to the supermarket (between you and Jenn) I had my head in the shelving swapping tops!!! It was very funny actually!!!
Luv Mandi......xxxxxxx
