SPT: Bribing Mr. Sun

your challenge this week? find your last receipt from the gas station (or if you are filling up over the weekend, make note of what you spend.) how'd you do? $35.00? $70.00? $100.00+?? what if you could take THAT amount and spend it on something for you?? to make it a little more challenging, let's just say that you can only buy ONE item, and the cost of that ONE item must be within $5.00 of what you spent at the pump.

Despite my orange kitchen, I'm starved for bright yellow's and oranges - the colors of the sun. If I had any extra money at this time it would all go to bribe Mr. Sun to shine once again. It costs about $80 dollars to fill up our mini van - surely it's enough! He came out for ten glorious days here in Montreal, really he was just teasing us, as it just isn't enough to make up for the awful, very long six month winter I had to endure! We're are back to colder weather - but thank heavens, so far, no snow!
Did you do SPT yet?
Is Mr. Sun shining on you?

Did you get that snow last week too? I hope not. Maybe all Canadians should pitch in. I'm coming up in May and I want that sun shinning! Great spt.

We also have plenty of sun here in Las Vegas. Even when it is cold, the sun is still shining. But I would trade you a couple of cloudy days anytime.

We had sun here today, but by evening it was cloudy and very WINDY! It never did rain, but the wind sure whipped it up. I hope you get the sun you want.

YOur eyes look fantastic in that picture. Amazing.

The teaser spring weather really is cruel. We are finally warming up after our week and a half of sub zero and snow. The return to the sandbox has been a wonderful thing.

our weather is the same as Jill's. We had a really warm day and I almost got sun burnt but then the next day it was overcast and we were supposed to get some rain and snow overnight. I don't know if we did because it looks pretty nice out right now. Hope you get some sun soon.

We have had a very dreary spring, but at least it hasn't been too cold- 60's and 70's. I would love to bribe Mr. Sun to come out just a little more!

I am wearing a freakin sweater today here in Utah. I'm sick of this weather. Where did mr. sun go? I spent 62.50 on gas on my suv at costco. I am supposed to put premium, but I don't. I would buy this adorable shirt that I saw in anthropologie. I reallly really want it. oh well. Kids got to eat and mom needs wheels to get around.

I love that sapphire blue on you! Good choice. We're having lots of sunshine here, coupled with big, blustery gusts of wind - real kite-flying weather!

I didn't do this SPT. The price of fuel in the UK is frightening. We're paying £1.10 per litre, with about 4 litres in a gallon - so that's £4.40 a gallon - a princely $8.68 per gallon in US Dollars. *sobs*
