SPT: What was I thinking...

I am finally posting, whew - what a week! This week's SPT was somewhat perplexing to me, as I am often saying to myself - What was I thinking? That's not the perplexing part, more of a normal occurrence - the perplexing part is the whole taking a photo of the what was I thinking moment. I try to avoid documenting them and they would just take up too much space! Although I refuse to photo them, I have put up for all to see my own personal duh moments on my sidebar under Git Award and I've recorded a few more for you today! Here are a few things I've done this week to qualify for this week's SPT post:

Pouring milk into a cereal bowl. Normal right? Not when you were meaning to pour a "glass" of milk.

Froze a gallon of milk thinking that it would keep and we could easily defrost for the next morning. The next morning it was solid as a rock - we are on day three now and it's frozen! I think I'll just go get another gallon!

Came home three times last week to a pile of our dogs lovely dung heep inside our house. My what was I thinking moment was, what was I thinking actually having two spoiled dachshund's running around our home!

And the real kicker...

Last night I'm doing laundry. I saved the whites for last because the girls are always getting their white uniform tops totally messy and it take a while to spot check all the shirts with a bleak pen. I just put everything in and I grab the bleach bottle, pour in the amount of bleach needed and start to put the lid on the bleach. That's when it happened, my true what was I thinking moment - POW, I drop the jug of bleach on the floor before I could get the top on and bleach goes everywhere including on my very cute PJ bottoms, feet, walls, and of course all over the floor. What was I thinking allowing myself to handle bleach? I've ruined many a shirt while doing whites.

I'll be posting my order post tonight or tomorrow! Can't wait to see your SPTs!

I have bleach spots on so many things, yet I can't figure out how most of them got there in the first place.

I can't imagine dropping the whole bottle though, I hope you took pictures of the damage done, yikes.

Oh wow, what a mess that must have been...you poor thing. I hope it didn't ruin too many things.

If it makes you feel any better, I have many "what were you thinking" moments too. I blame it on my age!

Bleach scares me. I have ruined too many cute things through my own faulty bleach tactics. I guess I deserve a git award!

Oh Michelle, I've had bad bleach moments too but yours sounds really bad!
Thank you so much for the good mail - and Luci and Griffin thank you too! What fun to open the mailbox today!!

Girl, that's horrible! I've never spilled a whole bottle of bleach before, but I have spilled drops on many a thing.
Thanks for the cute package. It came today! The candy's half gone!

I think that is why I have gotten rid of bleach all together. I have ruined WAY too many things. I guess at least your floor is sanitized right :)

What a week you've had. I'm blaming pregnancy brain for my "what was I thinking moments" during the past week.

Why is it that whenever you use bleach you convince yourself that this time you will be careful and won't spill a drop. Yet, no matter how careful you are, bleach seems to have its own special way of leaving its mark just where you don't want it to.

I loved the milk in the bowl, made me laugh.. My son poured buttermilk into his cereal & just about died.. It was so funny.
I can't tell you how many clorox stains I have on t-shirts.. That really stinks. I hope it didn't ruin anything else.
Good luck
