My parents came into town yesterday about midnight, so we've been busy catching-up! We picked the girls up from school and grandma and grandad took them to McDonald's. Tomorrow, I've got to finish the quilts for our enrichment on Saturday. Luckily, I don't have to make four quilts, only two ( although I cut out four) - I finished the bee quilt and am working on a star quilt. The women will tie them on Saturday.
Did anyone watch SYTYCD, what did you think of Travis's routine at the end?! So funny! I've had a chance to go to a few blogs, but I've been missing on most of yours. I hope to be back soon checking out all the amazing things you are up too! I am looking forward to the girl's last day of school on the 19th and our pending road trip to PEI and Maine -we are rethinking our camping choice - but we'll see! Take care!
How are you?

Hi Michelle
How lovely it must be to have your parents in town. I'm sure you're having some fun family times altogether.
All the best with getting those two quilts done.
Love
Elise
Make sure you take a picture of the finished quilts. I love the patterns you picked out.
Have a great time with your parents. Man your girls school goes late. My kids have been out since May 22 or something like that...
How wonderful to be quilting! Keep that sewing machine a-whirring.
Have a great weekend!
Yes--I watched it. It was funny, but I don't love it when boy's dress up like girls and dance like that. I do think Travis is incredible. I wish he'd done a real dance--I would have enjoyed that more.
However after we found out it was Travis we had to rewind and watch it again.
Yes, I saw Travis' routine and thought it was great. So funny.
Have a great time with all your plans!
Your adirondacks photo is gorgeous!!
I watched SYTYCD for the first time last week so I'm not up on the names. I'm watching next week.
Good job on the quilts.

we are busy (and HOT) here. jack's last day of school is Thursday, and camp starts the following monday. i hope it cools off some.
i bet the quilts will turn out wonderfully, and the girls will really appreciate them.
I need your help. You are so talented & cute & also have adopted kids. I was wondering what really cute & creative things you've done for Father's Day? Do you have any cute sayings or poems about Fathers & adoption. Kids make any really cute crafts?
I'm drawing a bland & we will be going out of town on Fathers day too for a week....
I'm so glad that I'm not the only one having trouble getting caught up ion everything.
Glad that your parents have gotten to come for a visit.
