Three weeks of rain...

What happens when you are rained out for almost a month? Throw on your boots and do this:

Make sure to get as wet as possible for full puddle splashing effect!

Then when you are done go inside, gather as many as pillows and blankets as you can find and make a Fort!

...Turn off all the lights, close the shades and have a picnic, while watching the newly released DVD Nim's Island on your small player.

And head to the indoor pool to swim with your favorite swim coach Marie and learn to swim a whole lap for the first time! Yeah Cici and Nini!

What do you do on RAINY days?!

What a great way to just be enjoying it all. So fun.

We just had the hugest thunder and lightning show. That is why I am up so late. Fires are circling our town. One started only 1/4 of mile from us. We watched it start. My daughter was crying because it shook the whole house. It was just awful. Our electricity went out and the phones still don't work. I better go. This post is about you and how to fun in the rain and I am showering you with this:)

Great choices to celebrate the rain! Fun, fun, fun. I'm more of a hunker down type, instead of getting out there in it or soon after.

It was rainy today at our home. We built a fort in our family room down stairs. A few of our favorite things to do are make playdoh, sit on the porch and watch it rain.Read a good book.

I grew up in Seattle where rain is just a fact of life, and now that I live in the eastern half of Washington, where we don't have a lot of rain, I find a good rainshower somewhat comforting. It brings me back to when I was a child and I just want to cuddle up with a good book.

Hi Michelle

What glorious ways to fill in a rainy day. You make rainy days fun and perfect.

We do lots of drawing, painting, reading, making cubbies and sometimes cooking when we have rainy days. I love that your girls got out and enjoyed the rain, it reminds me that this is one of life's simple pleasures and next time we get rain, I am going to head outside and enjoy the feel and smell of the rain.

Lots of love
Elise.

I'm not sure what I'd to on a rainy day. We haven't had one in a long time. It looks fun though!!

That sounds like a wonderful day! I just bought Ryley some rain boots for this next year. They are giant on her but she still wears them every day. Now if we just had some puddles...
