Keepsaking the neighborhood.

Last week, some friends and I went through our neighborhood taking photos of the homes. Our purpose was first, to record the area of which we live.

We won't live here forever and someday we will be moving. These homes and neighborhood will become a distant memory and we'll forget the beauty all too soon.

Our second reason was to remind us that winter, although seemingly long, grueling, and entirely white - won't last forever!

I left several homes out as they had their addresses on the front, no need to loose anonymity. I think if I could take the entrance gate below, the stone and red flowers in the first photo, and the architecture of the pointed roof - I would be happy! For now, it's nice knowing what's around me for my reminders and memories.

Next time you're are out and about, snap some photos of your area! We'd love to see! My sidebar links have simply disappeared, they should be back up soon and sorry for not visiting, the girl's party is Saturday! I'll see you sooN!

Love, Michelle @ a happy heart

Just beautiful. I'm glad they didn't come out and ask you what you were doing. That happened to me once!

I love your neighborhood, it looks like something in a painting.

I should really do that too. We know we will only be here in PA for 4 years and before I know it I will be back out west where there are not the old homes with charm and beautiful trees everywhere.
