A place for chrismas greetings.

****edited to add that my Anne of Green Gables contest winner is "miss Rachel" from home school blogger - please email me your address or post a comment with your email - thank you! ( I'll place photos of the drawing in my next post!)

I have been racking my brain trying to think of a place to put or Christmas cards. I tried to make a card holder last year - but failed miserably. After much deliberation and thought, I decided to use the Christmas ribbon garland I just finished as our card holder.

By a punching a whole in the top of the card and looping ribbon through the card and up around the garland - our cards now a loving an prominent place in our family room this Christmas. I put together garland post and ideas over at my Doodlebird Craft blog, click here!
Have you tried a ribbon garland yet?
Where do you put your cards?
Do share!

That sis so cute what a great idea. I just tape them to a door in my hall. I might have to try a new thing next year.

That is such a cute idea! I have been hanging mine up on our pantry door so that everyone can look at them all day long.

Your curtains and tree look so festive. I like the card garland. We did that for 3 years but then last year started taping the cards to the backside of our kitchen cupboards (that face the family room) because we had too many to hang. I liked the garland a lot, but I also like covering up the ugly white cupboards.

Great idea!
I ordered a card holder from Southern Living. It hangs over a door.

Hi Michelle

Your tree is gorgeous and makes for such a festive atmosphere.

I love your creative idea when it comes to displaying your Christmas cards. We use a piece of ribbon which we hang vertically and then attach all of our cards to the ribbon using little Christmas pegs.

Lots of love
Elise
