Cici Modeling her felt flower barrettes :)
Nini looking great in her barrett!
Bows with the tiny ouchless rubber bands made it's way into my daughter's hair even before there was much hair on their tiny heads. Today even my self-proclaimed tomboy, puts up with mommy's obsession with bows (as pictured above). They are patient with me and I put out of my mind, the day when they will be too old for them.
Natalie :)
I have always wanted to make professional looking bows - so I got my friend Natalie and we sat together creating various types of bows and barrettes. My favorite are the felt flowers. I found the flowers already cut in a package of 12 at a dollar store hot glued onto laundry pins. I peeled them off and re-glued them on a metal clasp with covered in ribbon.
Fortunately her daughter Whitney
was willing to model
our creations all at one time!
Do you believe in bows?
When did your daughter quite wearing them?

Emily stop wearing bows at 11. Enjoy it as long as you can. :)
Those are so cute! My favorites are definitely the felt flower ones. What a great idea!
Oh, I can't stop laughing! That was a fun night and definitely got me in the crafting mood again. Thanks!
the felt flowers are so cute! I will be keeping my eyes opened at the $1 store.
my daughters are regular wearers of bows or flowers or some type of hair "pretty".
my katherine was a "bow-head" from the day she came home from the hospital til she started middle school (i even, on occasion, was able to get her to don a ribbon in middle school). i LOVE bows:D

Oh! I love bow making nights! I started making them last summer and Aimee has quite a shoe-box full of bows and flowers now. It is fun to dress up our little girls, isn't it?
I have not thought about making bows. I think it would be fun! My girls have not always been willing to let me do much with their hair. This is such an inspiring post.
