Happy Heart girls turn 7!

The Birthday Girls!

The Happy Heart Blog girls turned 7 this year! I was planning a fun and exciting birthday at the park, but opted for an at home party so that I could actually attend. Putting it together was easy enough with friends and family chipping into help. Normally, I would be the planner and executioner, but I had to give in my authority and let other do the work (it was hard, but I survived!).

Entertainment was harder to choose, because we didn't want a lot of mess and work at home to clean up. Enter Craig, husband and will never admit he loves a good party - goer; to come up with a creative game for the kids to play. He ended up turning our garage into a make-shift archery range. Craig showed each child how to shoot the child's bow and arrow and if they popped a balloon they turned the number inside in for a prize.

Friend Kathy (left) and kids awaiting their turn.

Cici ready to shoot

Even the youngest got a turn!

Next up was the girls family birthday party. They each got one large present and a few small ones from grandparents. Here you can see them enjoying a good fight over a shared present - the collection of American Girl stories.

Who's winning?

Nini is more than excited that her sister got her dream present!

Secretly, I know she asks for legos so that her and daddy can have one-on-one time!

And now for blowing out the candles!

Thinking of wish...

...getting ready...

...oops blew a raspberry off the cake...

...one more try...

...and away we go!

Wonderful shots of the girls. Even stuck in bed you still managed to create great memories. I don't know how you do it!

They are beautiful and you did a great job with the party. I can't believe you are going to have four children and only two actual days to celebrate all of their births!:)
