I love the little ways that my girls show me their appreciation and love, like this shrine! I left way before they awoke last week for school, as I was due in for a 7:00 a.m. doctor's appointment in downtown Montreal. My Cici takes this photo out whenever I am away for longer than an hour. She has used it so much that we have just assumed that this wedding photo of me from 1993 is hers now! The girls read this post before I published it. When I asked Elise why this photo was on the chair she said, "Because Nini missed you!"

That is so sweet.
ohhh michelle...i have been thinking about you and feel frustrated that i don't have a computer on a daily basis to see what is going on with everyone......so I hope you are feeling good and you are nesting where you are supposed to be, it has been very difficult for you to be where you are now, and it is tremendously hard to be stay put when you are all out and about....you are good. you will be. and believe me, those resting periods, will be much needed when they arrive, but this is how life is...isn't it? you just have to continue forward...no matter what happends and what you are doing....just keep looking at the goal in sight....and that is for a happy family in the celestial kingdom and this goes for moi too! daily life can take a toll and as long as we keep thinking that what we do, is because we are here on earth to prove ourselves the best ones we can be, that is the most important thing....ciao mon amie
This is so cute. Our kids love pictures of daddy when he is gone on trips. Plus we call his office line and listen to his message.
My shrines appear in the form of little notes scrawled here & there for me to find :)
How's the baby-baking going? Doing okay?...
wow so so sweet!
My shrine is my pillow, where I will find love notes from my children. I really need to frame some family photos now that we are getting settled in our new home. I am sure my children would apperciate it. Thanks for the inspiration.
