Back in the U.S.A

As much as I loved my experience in Montreal, I missed scenes like this one. I was brought to tears many times during the several Memorial day events we attended, both at the girl's school and in our new town.

This photo was taken on the day of the girl's Memorial Day concert at their school. It is the biggest performance of the school year. They recited patriotic words and sang, sang, sang lots of patriotic songs.
On Memorial Day we headed down into our new town. The girls participated in the bike parade and a small repeat of their Memorial Day concert on the town commons pictured below...

Here they are singing This is America.
We also...
tried out our new baby backpacks...

The Hawk.

I can't say it does much for my back, but the boy' sure looked cute!

Thanks for the glimpse of celebration. The girls are adorable in their patriotic outfits. Oh and your little boy looks so big in his pack. They're growing up fast.

I've never seen Memorial Day celebrations before. That is great.

I love your girls' dresses!
