The Photo Session Saga.

The Hawk and Mr. T are without a doubt happy morning and nap wake-er-upers. They always have a smile on their face and are ready to face the day or the rest of the day -except for the one day we had our family photos. Yes, the one day. I'm sure the sensed that they would be poked and dressed-up, quite funny when you think about it. First, Mr. T lost it.

Mr. T was so upset that it got the Hawk chimed-in. No one could get those babes to smile, not even a little smile.

That red face wasn't for show. They were both very grumpy, perhaps it was the vests? Until...

Mr. Craig came in and did some running, posing, and general giddy-type behavior...

...and...there you have it...Mr. Craig - a.k.a Daddy - saved the day!

I met Laurie Mcdonagh of Laurie Mcdonough Photography (link provided) at Bertucci's in Nashua. The boys were a couple months old - if that - and we were on one of several trips down from Montreal to look at houses in the NH or MA area. I liked her instantly. How could I not? She cooed and raved over my babies. After a short conversation, she handed me her card and said that she was photographer and loved taking photos of twins. I took the card and went on our way. Fast forward to a month ago when I found her card amongst my files. Looked at her fantastic website and portfolio and the rest is some great photos. I can't wait to them!
Have you have saga stories about photo days?

OMG! I feel your pain. Danica was the worst at taking photos as a baby. The only pics I have of her are the ones I took and all the rest of the professional ones she does not even look happy. Finally I realized it just wasn't worth it. Now I will rent a killer lens to get something nicer than the usual.

You got some good shots, I'd say! It is hard when babies are sad. Not much you can do about that!
