Laundry Room Felt Sign

It's been busy around here, but I've managed to squeeze in some time during the last month to make somethings for our walls.  I just finished this laundry room sign this week.  I love how it turned out!  I started your basic embroidery material with a tea stain.  The letters are cut out from red felt.  The birds are made by drawing on the bird pattern below (my own design!) and using basic embroidery thread on the birds and for embellishing the letters.  I am still a week away from being able to hang this up on our laundry room door.  Apparently, Mr. C has black-listed me from hanging anything up on the wall.  Something about not using the right tools (guilty) and not measuring (guilty); and putting more then one hole in the wall at a time because I didn't measure(guilty)!  I've included my Doodle Bird  design for you to use below.  The wings are simplified to make it stand out more on the fabric.

Are you banned from using a hammer on your walls?

I havent embroiderd much just on a tea towels and a few other things but it was quite awhile ago.
