So, enough about me...

I have been seldom seen on my blog over the last year.  Plainly speaking - it has been hard to put forth much energy into this part of my life.  While I've contemplated saying goodbye to this blog, my desire to write has always won.  My novel writing days are still a few more years out, for now, I will continue to write when I can in this little piece of world.

At the end of the summer, I was called as the YW President in our ward.  It has been such a fun calling!  I have loved working with each of the girls and seeing there amazing talents.  I have already grown from their example.  It has been a challenge to go to all the meetings, yet somehow it all works out and the boys and family are always happy when I return home. Here's what's going on with all the most important people in my life - in no particular order:

I see a lot of Mr. C as he continues to work hard at finding a job that will keep us in New England. We are soaking up his time off as we know this won't last forever.  He's finished projects - building us a new kitchen table, benches, a new facade on our sugar shack, and lots of other projects.

Nini is blossoming into a tall gorgeous young lady.  Her dreams still go between super spy and first girl to play on an all men's NBA basketball team.  In her words, "I just want to be like Michael Jordan".  I love her freckles and her hugs.  She's an amazing and loving sister.

Cici continues to be one of those beautiful young ladies who everyone loves to be around. She's given dancing a rest and joined her sister on the basketball court.  Both are on a traveling basketball team!

Hawk delights all of us with his little dimple and smile and bright eyes.  Mr. T is a ball of love.  He loves to be a part of everything and everyone's lives.  Both bring a lot of fun dynamics to our home and really anywhere we go with them!  They have both struggled differently with their language - Hawk with pragmatic and conversation and Mr. T the way he forms his words and how we understand them.  They are in preschool four days a week and with teachers that are helping them with there language.

I am very happy to be the mother of these four beautiful children.  As I watched one of my children struggle with an ongoing adversity, I realized how important it is to stay focused on your own family.  Each one of us deals with and works daily with our own set of problems.  My reason for naming my blog a happy heart blog keeps me focused on the joys of living, the fun moments that make all of our best memories.  I will continue writing on my blog when I can and keep you updated on our little family :)  Merry Christmas!
