Hot Sun at last...

I am realizing that it has almost been a week since I last posted; good perhaps because I got a few things done and have enjoyed time with my parents here; not good, because I haven't documented any of it! The weather here has changed dramatically and I am now enjoying very warm weather. It happened over night! This photo above was taken at Lake Champlain sitting in a captains chair at Knight's State Park - we were the only one's their; the girls splashed in the water and got soaked. I kept telling them it was too cold to bring our swim suit to the cabin, but I was so wrong. Next time - we're bring the suits! We also promised ourselves window unit air conditioning this year and am happy to say that at least our bedrooms are cool and we can now sleep soundly instead of tossing and turning at night.

I have tons of photos to share and lots of blogs to visit soon. The girls are still in school, and we have less than 10 days before our PEI vacation. I had hoped to process emails to go private, but haven't had a chance yet. I am putting together a craft blog that I hope will be ready soon. I think this might solve my journal/creative posts issue I've been having.

More photos to follow, including my first summer checklist photo, and a very late SPT all coming soon!

How are you?
What have I missed?

Yeah for sunshine...we have had a delay in spring around here as well, and when those sunny days finally come they feel great!

I hope you have a wonderful vacation!

Glad you are getting some sunshine! We still aren't, so I'll gaze at your picture longingly!

I'm loving your new oval header. So cute! Enjoy your family!

Hi Michelle

How lovely to see a new post and hear that the sun is shining in your part of the world.

I am so happy for you that you got to spend time catching up with your parents.

Looking forward to more blog posts.

I hope the sun lasts and lasts. It sure has been fickle around here.

I can't wait to hear about your PEI vacation. It's a place I've always wanted to go.

Ohhhh, you are SO mean...with all these "coming soon" teasers! Craft blogs, PEI, creative posts, photos of checklists (I love checklist photos, by the way...) So mean to make me wait for all these goodies!

You'd better post that Summer Checklist photo soon so I can copycat.

And I am here-&-now, offically threatening that IF YOU DO NOT POST ALL ABOUT PEI, I WILL BE BITTER. I am totally planning on living vicariously thru your Anne of Green Gables experience.

Have a blast!
