...when the crust you cut off your children's
sandwich becomes your lunch.
Oh the guilt and waste I feel when cutting the crust off my kid's sandwiches and toast. So, I have taken to eating it as part of my breakfast or lunch. Or, I slyly put the kids' bologna sandwiches with the crust in their lunches, full knowing that the likelihood of them eating the crust is well, none. Somehow, when I say that they "have to eat the crust", I still end up with a crust graveyard. Oh the humanity!
Do you cut the crust?
Do you feel guilty?
Is this your lunch or breakfast?

I don't cut the crust off my kid's sandwiches . They eat the crust!!!
I eat the scraps off their plates often. Good to see I'm not the only one.
How fun to use your cookie cutters on the sandwiches! I haven't done that in a long time. I totally should! Thanks for the reminder!
That's cute...I eat Danica's crust sometimes. Don't think I ever mentioned until now. :0)
When I pack their lunches for school, I use cookie cutters on the sandwhiches so no crust. At home or if I'm in a hurry I give them crust.
This is hilarious because it is sooo darn true! I can't waste it and usually that is all I have time for.
I love your idea of cutting smaller cutouts. I usually use a big cookie cutter.
The mohawk is so darn cute!
My daugher eats the crust, but I usually don't-lol! I just give it to the dogs or crumble it up and put it in the bird feeder outside.
I don't cut their crusts, but they do occasionally leave them on the plate and then I usually eat them. Can't stand wasting food.
