Update

I started at least two other posts in hopes of recording what has been happening during the treatment, but I just didn't have the focus to write. Posting photos on my other blog is much easier! I am now on two shots a day. The first is a continuation of the Bucerelin and the second is a follicle stimulating hormone to get me ready for ovulation. I've had two ultra sounds to track my progress and so far everything is looking really good! Whew! Besides headaches and the ache of the actual needle, a few mood swings - I'm feeling really great! Tomorrow, I will head in for another ultra sound and hopefully everything will still be progressing well!

A doctor's prescription to nap.

I went in for my 2nd ultra sound to see if I was ready to start taking the next injections. My uterine lining is too thick, so I'll be taking Bucerelin until Thursday, when I have my next injection. Her advice to me regarding this medication - nap. The more sleep you get the less "moody" I'll become. So there it is, a doctor's advice to take naps! Maybe I should have got this in writing!

Ouch!

I am now on my 8th day of giving myself injections in my stomach. I am trying to be careful, but even the best intentions can end up in a very large bruise. The bruise happened so quickly after I pulled the needle out - it was crazy.
