Day 6: Bar Harbour, Maine to Freeport, Maine.

Bar Harbour Maine was really fun at night, but during the day we felt it a bit crowded - so we headed south to see some of the other towns along the coast of Maine. One of our favorite was Belfast, Maine. Home to these boats...

A perfect place for a picnic...

The body I should have...

Close to this homage to Rosebud a very beloved pig that someone took great care to pay their respects too...
Near this really neat comparison between old and new...

And on the way to Craig's mecca of clothing and where we spent way too much time...

We did have fun looking through the 24 hour l.l. bean store and manged to pick up a few items of interest for Craig, a bathing suite for me, and summer wind jackets for the girls. Granted we were all tired by the end of the day and Craig was still ready to do more looking and shopping at the l.l. bean factory outlet store...

Nini wasn't all that impressed as I caught her doing these faces! This was one of the last photos I took of this day. We spent the night at a Fairfield Inn, swam, and ordered pizza for dinner. We were fortunate to have the pool and hot tub all to ourselves! We wished we would have had more time to expore Acadia Park, but we'll have to save that for next time!

Most spontaneous moment: Picnic in Belfast, Maine.
Worst Moment: Shopping too long at l.l. bean.
Best food: Gyro
Best View: My bed.
Best planned moment: Sleeping.
Most memorable conversation: ?
