It's never too late to follow your dreams!

Take away my 80's hair, shoulder pads, and undeniable misfit fashion sense and this becomes one of my favorite pictures. This is my mom. A dedicated woman who has more empathy for others than I will ever be able to have. This was a big day for her, it meant that she had completed her studies and she could move on to graduate school. I remember feeling so proud and not only did she graduate with honors, she was one of a few people who gave a speech at the graduation to her graduating class. I am grateful for her example that it's never too late to go back to school and follow a dream.

Happy Mother's Day Mom!
And Happy Mother's Day to all my blogging friends!

Michelle, don't put yourself down like that. That 80s picture could've been a LOT worse! Believe me, I KNOW!

How fabby to see your mum in graduate gowns. So true that it's never too late - by hook or by crook.
