Home for good.

I just can't quite seem to pull myself together today. I've got a huge headache and little sleep - and now an hour before I need to pick the girls up. Yesterday was such a fantastic day. It was crazy busy. I pulled the girls out of school early and we headed to meet one of our senior elders and Carina at her apartment. We drove to the airport to use my van for all the suitcases and the other car for all the kids. I can't tell you how wonderful it was and how quickly Carina moved when her little ones came walking through the doors from customs. I'd never seen her move so fast. It was a beautiful moment.

I can't wait to show the pictures because I had to take the pictures on the camera's internal memory. I misplaced the card two nights ago and don't know where it is. I hope I can find it - it's got pictures dating back to our trip to Disneyland in June one it. The cord to download the photos is - hmmm, I have no idea! Anyway, I'll post more later when I can think more clearly.

I cannot even imagine how eager she must have been to see her littles again. Is there any better motivation for moving quickly?

Sorry you've got a headache. Never any fun.

Akkk! Michelle, what am I saying in all my comments about sleep??

Aw, bless Carina and her kiddies at the airport. It reminds me of that opening monologue in 'Love Actually' - I think it talks about airports being one of the places that you see emotion (love, pain etc) at their very rawest and genuine and heartfelt.

I'm sure your camera gubbins will turn up soon. You have a big brain! You'll remember!

Films again! What about 'The Wings of the Dove' and 'Howard's End'. Or 'A Handful of Dust'. They're must-sees if you're a fan of Austen-esque period dramas.

Take care of yourself. I hope you find those cards...how frustrating. That would be terrible if you lost them.

I'm so sorry about not feeling well. Hopefully today is a better one. What a blessing it is that your friend is reunited with her children. That would have had me in tears to witness.
