Traffic Maffic.

I woke this morning to the ground covered in snow - ho hum! The cold has truly begun! Things seem to be calming down for me. My organization projects I started months ago are finally happening and I don't feel sooooo overwhelmed by being disorganized. Our infertility appointments don't start again until the first week in December and we'll see then what I'll have the endure!
During the past two weeks, I've taken the girls out of school for two hours during lunch and taken them to the mall to look for Christmas gifts and for lunch. I have a photo of Cici, but it's still on my phone - here is Nini playing the game "Rush Hour" she just loves it. I love it because it's a game they can play and succeed at quickly. Look at that intensity and joy when she won! The girls call it something like "traffic maffic!"

It's an interesting feeling living in Canada and having Thanksgiving already over in October. It's just not the same here and I'm missing that holiday fun. When Craig and I made plans for me to join him in London, it didn't even occur to me that this was Thanksgiving weekend. Luckily, Christmas is the same! I babysat a couple little boys today from our ward and am getting ready to go pick up the girls from school. I just didn't have a lot of patience with them this morning - so it will be nice to see them and give them a big hug.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

That game looks neat-o! You always find interesting games--thanks for sharing. It's so nice to have some one on one time with your girls too. It would feel strange to celebrate TG in a different month, at least Canada celebrates Christmas the same day. Enjoy yourself in London--can't wait to hear about it!!

What a cute game--and she does look so intent. I guess having Thanksgiving over with may be more motivating to get into the Christmas spirit. I still feel a little bah humbugish. Have a great week!

I am so excited the snow is here. We got a little skiff of it yesterday, MAYBE 1", and the kids were so excited. We bundled up in snowsuits and played in the yard for an hour. Carter brought his magnifying glass and we looked at icicles on the grass, the shapes of snowflakes etc. So fun.

Happy Thanksgiving.
