Think Spring.

Last Sunday, we had three feet of snow on our front lawn and today it's down to about four inches. I searched high and low for at least one flower to take a picture with. My search came up empty and I was left with not a spring thing to take my picture with. Unless I wanted to pay a fortune for store bought flowers or take a snapshot in the grocery flower section! So, your stuck with these cheesy little photo with me and a silk flower rose!

If I could have I would be lying in a field of wild flowers asleep with the warm spring sun on my face. That was how I marked spring as a little girl. I would also walk through our fields at home picking wild flowers for my mum. But alas, these are just memories, grand memories, but very difficult to take a picture with. With the lack of spring around me, I have decided to think spring!

What does spring mean to me? Spring is a season of birth, growth, and maturity. Baby animals are born, trees and flowers bloom, and warmth sends everyone outdoors. In the spring, I feel better about myself because the earth is beautiful. It's easy to feel beautiful when your surrounded by the beauty of nature. In the spring, I pull out all of my music books and begin to play through all of them - I even manage to bring out my violin. I love playing Debussy in the spring with his sweet peaceful songs like Clair de Lune and The Children's Corner; each note reminds me of being outside and being a child again.

Spring is my time to reconnect with myself, my self-esteem, my talents, and thank Heavenly Father for the gifts he blessed me with. That is how I bring spring into my life.

I wouldn't have known that was a silk flower. That is a great photo and I feel the same way about your list of spring!

I'm impressed that you searched for a flower to pose with so that you could think spring.
