Thank you, thank you, thank you to Scribbit for this great idea. I don't know what was in the air today, but it's been a long day of tantrums?! Aren't they supposed to end? I've read the books though, and it doesn't look promising! By the time 4:00 p.m. came around, I needed a distraction. I saw this on Scribbitt's website last night about a good summer activity and teaching your children about Archaeologists. I knew the girls would love it, so, before calling it a nigh,t I gathered our Disney Snow White characters. I filled two tupperware containers full of water and put the Wicked Stepmother, Snow White, and one of the Dwarf's in one Tupperware, and the rest of the Drawfs and Prince Charming in the other into our freezer. I would tell the girls that they needed to try to save Snow White from the Evil Stepmother by getting Snow White out first, or get the Prince out of the ice to help save the Princess.
Have a happy day!
What are some other fun ideas with ice?

That is a great distracter - one I'm going to remember. And I'll have to check out scribbit!
I needed this idea the other day. Hmmm I may be freezing some toy trucks. Thanks for the idea!
Yes what a great idea:)
Okay I'm loving the rescue efforts with the "jaws of life" pliers she's using :)
WOW! I wonder if this will keep my boys entertained. Thanks for the idea.
What a wonderful idea!
That's a seriously clever idea and how brilliant are they to think about picking up the ice chunk and dropping it on the ground? That's smart.
I read an article in a magazine recently that suggested freezing different sized containers of water and using them outside as blocks in the hot weather.
Michelle! What an awesome idea! I love it. I have little dollar store dinosaurs I can use so they can be archeologists. So great! I always feel a little silly when I see something this great and go, "Why didn't I think of that?"
I'm going to go check out Scribbit!
