SPT -Through the eyes of love.

I just love, love this photo taken by Cici on Friday evening. I've posted before about our local pizza place in the center of Mont-Royal; across the street from the pizza place is the town's rose garden and lawn bowling center. I took several pictures of the girls and then Cici asked if she could take a picture of me. I said sure! I got close to the flowers and then, Nini came running over, "I want to be in the picture!" It wouldn't be fitting if we didn't include daddy, so he came over and Cici snapped the shot. I asked my girls the following question today, "If you had to write something about me, what would you write?" Nini quickly responded,"I love you sweetie pie!", and Cici chimed in, "I love you, your so beautiful and you like roses and seashells!" After taking this photos, we headed across the street for dinner.

Friday Family Date Night!

Cici's best curtsy!

Nini, posed herself, I didn't make her do this! So cute!

Later that night...

Tthe girls had there first slumber party! I pulled Cici's mattress onto the floor and the girls sat and watched some princess barbie movie on a small screen DVD player. They ate popcorn and raspberries and went to sleep way too late! They have been doing so well in their own bedrooms, in fact, I keep thinking, why didn't I do this earlier?

That really is a great shot of the three of you, and the rose gardens look beautiful. I love the blue and white dress. It made me think of Alice in Wonderland.

Fun to have a family sleepover. Someday I'll work up the courage for this. I'm rather a strict bedtime mom. I guarentee if you were to phone my house at 8:01 my kids would be in bed. Maybe I'll do one this summer. No, I will do one. It sounds too fun to not do. They'd love it, and I shouldn't be such a wimp. Look, you motivated me today. Thanks.

How nice to have a family date night and eat pizza near a beautiful rose garden! Your pictures are beautiful. The "sleepover" sounds like a lot of fun. I'm glad they have adjusted so well to having separate rooms.

The picture Cici took is great! I love seeing pictures of your girls. They are so cute!

Love the slumber party idea. My oldest-youngest sister(does that make sense) and I always shared a room. My two youngest sisters also shared a room. We would invite the littles to slumber party with us on the weekend. We loved it!

What a beautiful part of the city to live in!
Your rose photograph is breathtaking. I didn't think for a second that you had coerced Nini into that rose picture - you are so good at letting her own personality shine through!
