Squirrel Invasion.

This morning, I stumble downstairs to answer the door after having just woken-up. What to my wondering eyes to appear? A squirrel, making himself comfortable in our kitchen! He chewed a hole in our window screen and made himself welcome on some sunflower seed bread we had on the sink! He ran outside throught he screen as soon as he saw me. Tonight - I shut the window!

To my surprise, I came home to find my Harry Potter book had finally come. The ETA had originally been August 9th! I'm already on page 25!

What kinds of animals have made their way into your home uninvited?
What page are you reading now in the harry book?

That is so funny about the squirrel. What did the squirrel do when it saw you?

While living on AZ, we had snakes that came into our house. OH and lots of lizards. My daughter Emily read the HP book. I need to start it soon

Well, I am not sure if this counts as an animal- but yesterday I found a scorpion on my kitchen sink. He was definetly NOT invited! I hate those things.

I love that you have squirrels around your house. We have to go camping to see them!

I can think of many things I would rather not find in my kitchen in the morning. Having lived in the desert yourself I am sure you can relate to the undesired and scarey desert bugs. YUCK!
Never will forget the time the boys caught blue bellied lizards. Austin decided it would be great fun to wear them as earrings. (They were biting lizards-I'm sure you can see it.) Boys are so much fun!
Austin just started HP and on chapter 8. He says it's very good so far. Can't wait until it's my turn!

On a daily basis we see a ton of wildlife around our property. Cute little ground squirrels and bunnies and quail families, even snakes & coyotes. If I EVER see one on the counter eating our bread I would faint.haha
At our last house we had a squirrel living in the backyard. He ate all the flowers & would sprawl out-on his back to sun bathe!! It was the craziest thing to see ;) The kids named him Fred.

I finished the Harry Potter book the day after it came out. It was a great read and that is all I have to say about it.
We have had a squirrel living in our garage before. They seem cute until they invade your space, then they must be dealt with!

I love squirrels! [or I did until an American told me that they carry the plague! Surely that can't be true, they're just to cute]
Congratulations on your award from Scribbit.

I have definately never found a squirril in my kitchen! Actually, no real animals. Just the occational fly or spider is all that seems to make it in.

Oh, no. 3 years ago we had mice in the place we were renting. They were not invited. We couldn't seem to catch them with traps, so the landlord gave us some poison. I was so scared Carter (who was about 16 months old) would get into it. He wasn't allowed in the basement at all.

What a cheeky squidgel!

I've had a rat staring at me in the middle of the night, in my bedroom, while I was a student.

Mum's had a bird fly into the house. Her friend had a bat in her house.

We've just discovered a little bunny rabbit has become resident in our garden. Cute, but I worry about my plants now...

I am Teflon-coated anti-Harry Potter, by the way!

I would have flipped out! (I know this because of my bat experience) At least your invader was smart enough to find the exit without any help from you!
