Vermont, DC, Goodmail and back.

We are on vacation! We've enjoyed a cabin in Vermont and now are in Washington DC and just experienced the 4th of July fireworks on the mall. The girls were casual about the fireworks, but loved, loved the cabin we stayed at. I think they are tired of small city spaces and needed room to run and play. I've got lots of pictures, but can't download them until we get back - it's vacation - even from blogging!!
In Jeffersonville, Vermont, I was able to send out 6 items of goodmail - yeah! It's just so much cheaper in the states, I've got to work out a routine of saving my goodmail and sending it when we visit the states. We have one more day in DC, and are heading back for two more days at a cabin by Lake Placid, NY, and then back home to Montreal.
Can't wait to get caught-up on your blogs!

Oh the D.C. fireworks are something, my husband was there in 1976 for the bicentenial edition.

Ah, cabins are great! I'm surprised they were blase about the fireworks, though - I'm a sucker for a firework display!

Clever, clever with the Goodmail sending via US! Watch the pennies and the pounds will take care of themselves - that's what they say!

Fireworks on the mall in the nation's capital? Capital!
I love Canada Day (July 1st) but I spent it in Montana, and it might have been fun to be in Montana on the 4th, but I had to return to Canada for YW's camp!
