I feel a bit like David in the bible story David and Goliath. My "Goliath" is made of satin and requires a steady hand and a seamstresses touch. Ten bridesmaids will be at the side of my sister-in-law, and I will be the only one with a dress that looks like I sewed it with my eyes closed!
I am required to make my own bridesmaid dress and in true Michelle style, waited until the last minute to get it done. We've had a great weekend with beautiful 70 degree weather, leaves falling and lots of fun pictures to share. I apologize for not visiting your blogs recently, I can't wait to sit down and see what everyone is up to!
How have you been?
Working on any large projects?

Can't wait to see what you come up with! Even with adequate time I don't think I would take on sewing my own bridesmaid dress. What pattern are you planning to use?
I would die if I had to sew a dress for myself (or anyone)! I'm sure you'll do just fine! Happy sewing.
Sewing your own dress? Either you're crazy or ultra-talented. Or both? I can sew alright, but not WOMEN'S CLOTHING. Yikes--too many precise measurements. YOU GO!
Oh my goodness, I would croak if someone wanted me to sew my own dress -- out of satin, no less! Eek!
Best of luck!
Oh girl, good luck with the dress! I'm sure with your talent, you'll pull it off beautifully. In the mean time you are missed and I look forward to catching up with your world!
Will you post pix? Are all the bridesmaids sewing their own? Will
there be a contest of the best threads?HA! J/K. I made my bridesmaids wear a floral dress with puff sleeves. At the time I of course liked the print ('90)but
yikes! Scary. ciao
oh.. that sounds like a huge challenge.. I bet you will do great and you'll look great in it! can't wait to see the pictures.. good luck!
Why do you have to make your own bridesmaid dress? That would not be a possibility for me.
YIkes! What a project - I look forward to seeing the pictures! At least in the story David wins, so that must have given you some hope!
