SPT - 3,2,1 - A family wish.

The best thing about the holidays has to be the enormous amount of candy, treats, and holiday foods that shower our home. However, not wanting to admit my gluttony over the holidays, I'll stick to thinking about and carrying out our family traditions - and making a new one.

My sister and I were party animals in Salt Lake - first heading to the Quilted Bear and than the Relief Society building - see what I mean! For anyone not familiar with "Quilted Bear", it's and indoor craft mall where people can sell their creative crafts to anyone wanting to buy them. I am always so overwhelmed by this store and usually come out with nothing or something not for me! I found a great gift for my new sister-in-law and three tiny little stars. I originally purchased these cute little silver boxes for my girls to wear around their necks. I thought it would be fun for them to make a Christmas wish or something like that. My sister, who still refuses to have a blog, who always has great ideas, came up with this:

Put your family goal or wish for the year inside the little star and hang it on the tree, keep the wish inside and then next year you can take it out and talk about last years family wish and make a new one!

Well, we are going to adapt this into our traditions this year!

Very cute idea. You're going to have to write VERY small to put something inside that!
