SPT - I was in stitches.

Adoption Day, 1976!

Don't you wish you could play like this?

Or this?

Playing changes when you grow-up, it has to or we'd all be sporting pirate hats and babydolls! I thought a lot about this challenge, yet found it difficult to chronicle my "play" in my new surroundings. It seems that it takes time to make friends! Despite my lack of gal pal friends, I still like to have fun! I love to laugh! It is, by far, the best medicine and the best sign on a playful heart.

My photo for SPT was taken a couple years ago. No matter how hard a try, I'm sorry, I can't fake a laugh like this one. My sister can always get me going!

When was the last time you laughed so hard you, yes, thought you were going to pea your pants!? The last time I laughed like this was from the outtakes at the end of the movie The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. I was in stitches, it was too much to handle.

I love laughing like that and really wish I had a picture of me doing so, you're lucky to have one.

I laughed like that last Sunday while hanging out with my family for Conference, my brother had us all doubled over with laughter as usual.

I am always laughing like that around my siblings. Oh I miss them. There is nothing like laughing with family!

I actually DO have a pirate hat, and I even wear it around the house sometimes. As for Baby Dolls, I was never really into those.
I am not much of a laugher either. More of a smiler. I think I laugh most when I am with my family (especially my sisters).

michelle -- awesome note you left me on my blog today. thank you. i don't feel all that brave as you said, but i know that this is the way, so like president hinckley quoted in conference on sunday "then what else matters" more? i strive to keep horizon-focused. isn't that cool the way that is worded? a mormon friend of mine made that up and shared it with me. it is her constant reminder when she sometimes forgets.

about your funny post here ... oh, i love being with certain friends/family who i can laugh so hard with, i practically feel like i am going to pee my pants. we call them "no breathers!" and when i get going like that, i keep laughing, can barely breathe, and then sometimes, yes this is true, i start SNORT laughing! i don't mean to, i can't help it when i get all worked up like that. and then me and the people around me start dieing laughing even MORE because now i am SNORT laughing, too. and then when i/we finally stop laughing, i feel so out of breath like i just jogged. but what fun those moments are! thanks for reminding me of those hilarious gut-busting moments.

all things good to you this day,

There's nothing like a good laugh to make you feel like a child - totally free.

Great post. Kids really do know how to really play don't they. Your kids are so cute. I really did pee my pants when I watched the MTV special Ellen Degeneres stand up act. Too funny. Thanks for looking at my blog and commenting.
