Not this time.

I don't remember taking this picture, but it represents what she has been going through since our move to Montreal and through all the business traveling Craig has had since October. This picture was taken with a group of other photos right before one of his business trips. It's been very difficult for them and it shows in the way they act, how they see themselves, and there attitude when it's time for school. I've stopped trying to make them feel better, because it doesn't work. I see it more as giving them fun things to do to get their minds off of the time away. The photo of them looking out the window I took because it's how they say goodbye to Craig when he goes to work and how they say goodbye to me if I need to do something without them.

We are blessed this day to not have to deal with separation and attachment because we are traveling with Craig! Craig has some business in Utah and we are coming with him and staying with his mom. My parents are in town, we'll visit my brother, a friend will be having her 3rd boy while we are there and we'll have fun seeing old friends and sites. We'll also be celebrating my 34th birthday (maybe I'll try to get 34 things about me ready!) and Family Day - the day we became a family (ie the day the girl's were adopted). I can't believe we've been able to do so much over the past month, with Texas, our trip to Utah, and then we will be surprising the girls at the end of our trip with a visit to DisneyLand! They think we are gong to California to visit Craig's Aunt!

I will be posting as often as fun happens!

Michelle the first picture of your sweet girl is so touching. You can see the emotion in her eyes. The second picture of both the girls is so darling! It shows so many feelings. How blessed your husband is to be so loved by all three of you girls! I was wondering what day is your 34th?

Oh, I know all about the heartache that comes with traveling. You can always tell the day before Jason gets home that the kids have had enough. I am so glad you get to go with him to Utah. That will be a great trip for you all. So many things to do and celebrate!

We are taking the kids to dland in Oct. We are all soo excited. You will have soo much fun!

It I so hard when one of the parents have to travel a lot for business. When I was younger my father had to work out of the state for a year. He only came home on the weekends. It was so hard on the family every time he left. I feel for your sweet girls. Have a wonderful day my friend.

Congratulations on your Family Day! What a great idea to celebrate that every year. It is like an extra birthday!
I am glad you get to go with your Hubby this time. Being without him must be hard on you too, not just the girls. Have a great time in Utah and Disneyland. We went to the magic kingdom on our honeymoon...it was awesome!

that is great how you made "family day" as a celebration of when your family became a family. i bet your girls feel extra extra special and wanted for it.
