Mother's Day is such a beautiful event for all women. Ten years of my married life were spent without the blessing of having children. Yet it always seemed, I had the opportunity to mother others through my callings, at work, or in my own family. I always saw motherhood as a way of being, a way of reaching out, and listening to others.

I agree completely. Mothering is part of our divine nature whether we have children of our own or not. Great pictures of all the girls.
What a sweet post about motherhood. We all can be mothers to our own or to others who need to me mothered.
What a darling picture of the three of you! It is such a blessing to be a Mother.
What a beautiful picture of you and your girls.
Hi Michelle, I followed a link from my sister's (Barb) page and found you. I love the pictures of you and your girls. They must be twins. Wow. I love your post about what it means to be a mother in the grand sense, and not just as a function of biology.
Lelly - Let's just say, I thought I had patience before having the girls, and now I think I'm finally thinking I might have some someday! :-)Michelle
What wonderful photos. We do have a wonderful motherly gift as women.
Oh, sweet! Your girls made you into a Mummy Sandwich!
Such a beautiful photo of you and the girls. I think sometimes we take for granted the gift we as woman have. Thanks for sharing!
hi michelle: that's really neat how you look at it -- how you got to mother others in a way before you were given the blessing of your very own daughters. happy for you :) kathleen
